Pleasant Lake Bed & Breakfast is nestled in wooded surroundings with this quiet, peaceful lake as it's backdrop. We are locatd just 5 miles east of Osceola, WI in the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. Our country style home is built on land which was purchased in 1895 by Richard's great-grandfather, Joseph Berg, who came to the United States in 1855 from Germany. While relaxing in your room enjoy history tidbits of the family farm; the Voyageur way of life; a great-great-grandfathers' expeditions with Joseph Nicollet; the handi-work of Richard's great-grandmother who was the first white girl born in St. Paul MN; settlers of the Mann Valley area of River Falls WI and the creative writings and drawings of Charlene's grandfather. While our guests, you may enjoy the lake from your private deck, from one of the paddleboats or just dangle your toes from the dock. In the evening, enjoy a crackling campfire with the moon and stars reflecting on the lake undiminished by city lights.  After 23 years in the business, we still enjoy meeting each of our guests and look forward to our returning guests but at the same time we are looking forward to retirement when the timing is right.
