Our country-style home is situated on land that the Berg family acquired in 1895 after immigrating from Germany to the United States in 1855. Richard and Charlene Berg built, owned, and operated Pleasant Lake Bed and Breakfast from 1989-2023, prior to selling the beautiful lakefront property to the Hayton family in September 2023. 

As our guests, you’re invited to enjoy the lake from our multiple decks and comfortable outdoor seating, dip your feet in from our private dock, or take a refreshing swim. We do have a host living on-site but in separate quarters from our guests, there to answer any immediate questions and to check you into our beautiful lakefront home. 

Additionally, you can make use of the amenities we offer, including guest wifi, cleaning services, and the option to rent extra equipment for your lake adventures. As night falls, take in the peaceful crackling of a lakeside campfire while savoring some delicious s’mores, all while the moon and stars reflect peacefully on the undisturbed lake, free from the interference of city lights.
